This quotation was the title of the exhibition, which was desinged in both a sound and loving way, about Johannes Brahms and Franz Schubert in the Wiener Musikverein in 1997, the double anniversary. In 2012 some aspects of this musicological clue-hunt will be taken up musically at the chamber-music-festival in Mürzzuschlag. Dedicating ourselves to Johannes Brahms and Franz Schubert, the two icons of chamber-music, the Altenberg Trio, the Bennewitz Quartett, a top-class team of singers and renowned solists on their instruments like Andreas Schablas, Hardy Rittner, Clemens Zeilinger, Anthony Spiri and many others will play for you in Mürzzuschlag. Look forward together with us to a “Schöne Müllerin” with Daniel Johannsen and Stefan Gottfried or Brahms`Requiem conducted by Heinz Ferlesch as well as numerous varied programmes for chamber music in the Kunsthaus, the Biedermeier drawing-room of the Freiberger-House amongst other stylish places for concertes.
